Solitude is my opiate. I love my family dearly but when we fish together I feel like a guide. I constantly have to do lures, tying, run the trolling motor and dont get to fish much. I like going out alone or with one buddy who understands the saying "silence is golden-get rich quick" I think all the baits you tried dont really mimic the bass natural prey in that area. Ty tried to clean the fish as much as possible for the pic but he missed a spot or two. I'll have to pass on the tourney...I prefer fishing in solitude, not with a crowd. Even when I go with my friends, we always split up and head our own seperate ways. My pet peeves while fishing are people constantly yacking with each other or on a cell phone or even worse, coming over to fish right beside or just about on top of me when I catch a fish...one of the reasons I'm out there is to get away from civilization for a few hours and to enjoy some peace and quiet. It would be well worth your while to attend. You'll basically get something for just showing up. If you bring 6 more friends or family memebers and call yourself a team they will return 50,000 won and give you a box full of lures etc. The cost last time was 20,000 each. We had a team. One friend won a $400 digital camera for 7th place. Another one a tackle box, and another one a fishing pole. Any bass of any size is a guarenteed prize of at least a fishing pole. I was very impressed with the overall crowd, which was family oriented and very friendly. The sponsors were very generous. Free food and drinks too!
