Since I’ve been slacking

Well, not really slacking but rather wimping out due to the chilly mornings and other assorted excuses – but since I haven’t posted any decent fishing pics lately, I thought I’d post some nice pics of an outing one of my readers recently had in northwestern Pennsylvania.

As he said:  You may be rewarded with a nice bass,

What do fishing and one-year birthday parties have in common?

Not much, except they both took up my entire Saturday.

Yesterday morning four of us headed out to Gosam lake for some fall bass fishing.  We rented boats and were in the water by 6:45 – those of you who were up at that time (and I have a feeling there aren’t many of you that fit into this category) know it was pretty nippy out so Ty and I immediately headed for any spot that wasn’t in shade.  Jim and his boat-mate, however, headed straight for the other side of the lake which doesn’t get sun until later in the day due to the hills and trees along the shore.
