The red pack at the front of the boat was there when I got in and I assume it's empty. The pack you see beside Rob is his. However, to answer your question - yeah I did try but failed miserably. Given that we only caught four the day before I was pleasantly surprised that we did as well as we did. It just goes to prove that sometimes the best spots are right underneath your nose.
