 We went out to a small lake in Pyongtaek city Saturday after getting a hot tip from my buddy Rob and even though it was cold and windy, Ty caught his first bass of the year – on a silver spoon that he bought at E-mart last night which again just goes to prove how much I know about bass fishing because I would have never thought he’d get a hit on that lure.

You’ll notice that there are no pics of either Jim or myself holding up fish and that’s because just like the last three weekends, we both got skunked.  Aside from the catch, the other highlight of the day was when Jim found some dead bass on the bank and tried to impress us by hooking one of them and lifting it up to make us think he had caught a fish – which was all fun and games till his rod broke in half while he was lifting up the fish.

Short story:  For the third weekend in a row, we went out and tried two local lakes and nothing.  Nada.  Zip.

But some people are catching them
