As you may have guessed since there have been almost no new posts this weekend, I spent most my time fishing and with my family, enjoying the weather (Saturday was great, wasn’t it? I don’t think I even turned on the computer).
Even though it was pretty windy and hazy with the yellow dust blowing, I went fishing this afternoon with my friends Ty, Jim and Scott out near Asan Bay and here’s a pic of the bass that were caught:

Spring and early summer, my favorite part of the year.
What’s the size limit for fish like this in Korea?
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
I think that about covers it
hello
i just moved to south korea and i love fishing. i dont know anyone here and i really want to go for fishing so i am looking for fishing mates. i ll be in busan city next weekend and i ll stay there one month. i can not speak korean only english and i need to find one good shop for fishing rods etc. also i want to ask if you know any groups that organize fishing trips with boats for weekends. your help ll be a great deal to me. thanks
Wow, this is an old post
Lazaros, I live quite near to Busan, but unfortunatley I’m working in Nigeria at the moment, but will be back in Korea on June 26th.
After your month in Busan where will you be staying ??
I don’t know any tackle shops in Busan but there should be lots if you look around. What kind of fishing are you wanting to do ??
lazaros, don’t know much about Busan at all, but you should be able to find fishing tackle stores pretty easily down there.
I lived in Pusan (Camp Hialeah) before moving to crappy Seoul about two yaers ago. There are fishing stores on every street down there not to mention every Cosco and E-mart sells fishing equipment (both Saltwater and Fresh). The main river (Nakdong) there in Pusan and just about any other creek from the river holds bass. There is also Dadaepo near Busan for saltwater fishing. I sent a card to Rob, HunterDave, and Nomad with a number to a guy in Dadaepo who charters boats any time you want. Pusan is probably one of the best places to live if you like both saltwater and freshwater fishing.
thank you all very much for your help. steve i ll stay in busan for about a month. then i ll go for two weeks. at the end of july i ll be in geoje-do island till mid of octomber. if any of you wants to go for fishing with me you can contact me by email. (mazarinak@yahoo.co.uk)
best of luck
lazaros, I live on Geoje Island. What will you be doing while you are there ??
Unfortunately, there are no bass on the Island, but the sea bass fishing is supposed to be great.
