The one in the bottom pic was caught yesterday on a 5" watermelon with black speck Senko in water approximately ten feet deep (I'm guessing) with a lot of vegetation. I caught four bass in four days, which is nothing to brag about, but I had fun nonetheless. Plus, I got to see Nomad bust his ass and break one of his fishing poles! That was the highlight of my day!!! Sorry Nomad, you didn't think I was going to let you off the hook that easy, did ya? LOL I drove around to some of the local lakes today, and boy do we need rain! What was the bass caught on? It's still a bit early for bass. The lakes haven't turned yet but the mild weather makes heading out enticing.
