Dawn II

Taken this morning at a lake near Dunpo…I was going to go for another shot (or two) once the sun cleared the ridge, but the batteries in my camera died.

    You’re quite welcome :)

You didn’t like any of these better?

I better check if taking pics directly into the sun will damage any of the camera lenses before I go and do that again…

    Dave,

You’re right…I just set pic #2 (of this series) as my desktop wallpaper and it looks pretty good :)

I opted for pic #1. I must have completely missed Dawn #1. I was tempted to look back for something based on this post’s title, but laziness had it’s way. I too am taking some vacation time this week.
While not fishing, I have been find some great new jogging routes. I’m getting sick and tired of perimeter road. I’ve been taking it pretty seriously lately, and I may start my own “Abs at 45″ campaign. Just 16 months to go! ;)

There is nothing better than a view like that. It seems that during these times of the day the smell of the air even changes and is very comforting and relaxing. Don’t know how some people can actually say they hate the outdoors. My wife happens to be one of those. Malls and shopping centers are a better appeal.

Some more great pics. I don’t believe shooting the sun will damage your camera at all. It may damage your eyes with your SLR though.
