Primitive camping...does that mean no DVD player, computer, cell phone or coffee maker?

Congrats on the anniversary. Sun-Hee and I will have our 9th in Dec.
I've been trying to get some fishing, but the weather just took a turn toward chilly in Georgia just after I've gotten over a month-long stomach virus. I'm still going out now that I'm semi-healthy, but I'm going to do some primative camping. I've been inspired by the Discovery show Man vs Wild...I thought some of you over here at Lost Nomads might be interested in that if you haven't seen it already....My high school students said it was all "staged"...but it sure looked like he was drinking water from elephant dung to me.....Don't think I can find any of that around here.....but we'll see....

Here's my Tuesday morning fishing report. After an exhausting day at Everland yesterday, decided to relax today with my 2 cousins and do some fishing. Our quarry of choice today was to be bluegills on ultralight tackle. We decided to check out this other lake Southeast of the rest area: Google Earth Coordinates 37° 3'44.02"N and 127° 8'40.09"E. Turns out its a pay lake (5,000 won). Weather looked good, everything was great, just got off to a little late start as I had to get the rugrat off to school. Arrived at about 830 am and fished hard for about an hour, not a sign of a bluegill, caught a few small bass, decide to switch over for bass and ended catching about a dozen (all small) until they shut down at about 1030. All on 6" black/blue flake senko. About that time the small carp started sunning themselves and after about 30 min of experimenting, figured out how to get them to bite a live worm off the surface and the fun was on. Ended up catching about 15 of them total all about 1 pound and on ultralight tackle. That was a blast. About 1345 started getting too hot and windy so packed up and left. Never once saw nor caught a bluegill. Don't know if there are any in there. Saw plenty of small bass in the shallows up against the grass. Saw some real nice bass hitting the surface early, wish I would have arrived earlier and started for bass right off. Oh well, still had a blast. BTW: water was perfect. Looks like all that green stuff is gone now.

Looks like you guys did good and caught some nice fish. Congrats on the anniversary. Nowadays you just don't hear of too many 20 year anniversaries as many people are always divorcing. I'm right behind you on the 20 by six months. May God bless you with many a more anniversaries.

Happy belated anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Nomad!

As always, had a great time out on the river too. It was nice to finally have a "rain free" weekend.
