Last chance to fish until May, part 2 (26th March)

I couldn’t resist one more last chance (it’ll be almost 5 weeks until I can catch another Bass, so my wife understood  )

I went to a secret 1 acre pond that only a handfull of people know about and caught 13 bass. Even though not many people know about this place, there is already empty lure packets and old waste line just lying around the place, really pi$$es me off that a really pretty place in the country side is starting to look like all the other lakes and rivers and Bass fishermen are to blame

(Sorry about the rant, just had to get it of my chest  )

There’s no monsters in this lake, but what it lacks in quality it certainly makes up for in quantity. It’s located high in the mountains, so the water was a bit cooler than other lakes, but it was fun. Here’s a few of the better ones I caught.

I understand Steve. We see the same type of trash up here and it pi$$es me off as well.

May should be a good month for fishing, and the weather should be gorgeous! Any plans to hit Andong this summer? If so I can meet you down there, or will try anyway.

Yes Rob, May should be a good month, but so will April and I can’t fish

I plan on fishing Andong a few times this year, but mostly during the week when it’s quieter. I hope we can fish there together, we can have a Portabote race, except you’ll definately win
