I headed back out to the river bright and early today see if the bass were cooperating and I guess it wasn’t too bad of a morning. I caught nine, but unfortunately most of them looked like this:
The two below were the only decent sized bass this morning:
The fish on the right was 17 inches long (44 centimeters) and I caught it shortly before first light, right up against the shore, next to some reeds. By 8 the carp fishermen and some other bass fishermen started showing up and by 9 it was starting to get pretty hot out there and since the bass had stopped biting, I called it a morning.
With the amount of bass you are catching this year Nomad, you must of caught the same fish more than once

But that’s one of the benefits of catch and release, right?
There’s a small 1 acre pond I sometimes fish at and I have caught one of the bass 3 times
