I think some bass are smarter than others though. Example : I have a pond in my front yard. When I bought the property I started stocking big fish. My brother brought two bass that both weighed 4 lbs 4oz. I tagged both fish in different locations. I caught one of these bass about a dozen times before I finally caught the other. Another example of fish biting the same lure. I have a buddy who caught a bass on Ky Lake. He caught it with a blue/chrome rattle trap. It had a second blue/chrome rattle trap in it's mouth. Must have been collecting them. So, therefore you can catch the same bass and even on the same lure. No doubt you can catch the same bass even with the same lure. And I think if they're hungry, sure, they'll bite the same type of lure that they were caught on before.
