The wife and I are going to Bali next week for a holiday and from now until then I have lots of things to do, so yesterday (Wednesday) was my last chance to fish for a while. So, I wanted it to be a full day and a good day. I dragged my boat West 3+ hours to JangSung Dam.
This time, my motor (and new 6 gal fuel tank) was working perfectly so I got to get to better parts of the lake. The funny thing is, the best spots were right opposite the boat ramp
Here’s a few lake pics….
A few fish pics….
…..and now for the greedy dinks!!

Congrats Steve! Bali! You lucky dog!!
Thanks Rob. It was a great day to be on the water.
We’re only going to Bali for 10 days, but it’s just what I need after all that time in Nigeria during this year. We are staying in the Hard Rock Hotel….so it should be cool.
That’s a nice-looking lake. How deep is it, Steve?
Interesting place for a boat dock in that second to last pic. WTH?
Nomad,
The deepest I found was 30 foot deep, but with the water levels down around 20 foot, it should be around 50+ foot deep when we get some rain!! I also went up to the North end of the lake where there is another boat ramp and there is just no water left…but there is some great looking structure there which will be great fishing spots when the water rises again. This place is just like a mini Andong.
Rob,
so it may be a net guy’s dock.
Not too sure why it’s there, but there are a few farm houses on the shores of this lake and when the water levels rise, more people will have boats in the water. There is also alot of nets in this lake also
That little fish I caught in that photo was sitting right at the side of that boat dock
