Gone Fishing. Not!

I have a feeling that the weather is going to break any day now though!  ;)   At least I had the river to myself today, which trust me, is a rare occurrence no matter what the weather may be.

My dog Amy didn’t seem to mind the white stuff.  :)

    What river??

Is that the weather you guys are having now??

LOL Steve. :) Hard to tell where the bank ends and the river begins, isn’t it?

And yes, we got hammered with snow yesterday. There’s at least a foot on the ground here in Pyongtaek, and they’re calling for more today.

What ever happened to global warming. Osan got a total of 14 inches over the weekend (supposedly set a record). Base weather is predicting more snow in Jan and Feb than Korea has received in 40 years.
Even back home in the US, my dad says his powerplant cooling lake in Illinois is froze over and unaccessable.
Well at least the boys down on the Texas coast are still able to hit the surf between fronts:

    I hope you enjoy.

The weather is weird. Here I am in Colorado where I expected it to be freezing cold, especially in Jan and February. Just last week we were in the 70′s. Pueblo, which is about 30 minutes away was mid 70′s, which made for some perfect fishing weather. Two days ago, we got a blizzard though and it hit the low teens. Today, the sun has pooped out and it is now kind of warm. The weather is strange. I know Korea can be unpredictable every winter. Come March or April the weather just may turn so you all can do some bass fishing. I’ll send some photos and a post here soon with some of the fish I caught down here during the great weather. You all have an OB and a shot of soju on me.

Thanks for the link Hunter Dave. 14″! Wow!

It has been an extremely weird winter, I’ll say that.

“You all have an OB and a shot of soju on me.”

I have you covered on the OB Tex Mex, but somebody else will have to drink the soju for you. Me and that stuff just don’t mix very well…

  7. Steve says:

Yep, you are on your own with the soju Tex Mex…..I haven’t touched that stuff for a few years following some less than good experiences.
