The weather lately has been pretty bad as some of you know; It’s been cold, rainy and windy, all of which aren’t the best conditions for fishing. On top of that, the bass just aren’t cooperating like they were last spring. I went out yesterday morning and except for one bite on my second-to-last cast of the morning (which I missed), I got skunked
There’s a front moving in today so I gave it another try and did a little better than yesterday; I caught 2 nice ones and also a couple of dinks, one of which was so small I had to take a pic. That fish in the last pic is almost the same size as the 4-inch Senko he tried to eat. Heck, he may even be smaller! Once again I tried crankbaits, spinnerbaits and Senkos (both 5 and 4 inch) and the only thing the bass would touch were 4-inch Senkos, fished fast with a jerky retrieve.
Catching fish on Friday morning. Nice!
Makes the day even better than what it already is
There’s that famous rock again
Good catches Nomad
Very astute observation, Steve! That is indeed the “secret” rock.
What is the length of that rock?? Perhaps you can put some kind of markings on it so you can scale the size of your fish’s
That rock has to be at least 60 cm long hahahahahahaha just kidding.
