While yesterday was all about quality, today was about quantity, which made for quite the fun morning.
I started out throwing spinnerbaits and VibraShocks in different colors but only caught this bass on a bluegill-colored VibraShock. I did, however, manage to donate two more lures to the river. Once I got tired of losing throwing spinnerbaits and VibraShocks, I switched over to 4-inch Senkos and that’s when the fun really started.
I caught at least 15 bass but unfortunately, they were all that size or smaller. The problem is that the smaller bass really tend to tear the Senkos up, and I went through about 10 Senkos this morning. But it sure was fun to catch that many fish in 1 1/2 hours.
Nice going Nomad! Full moon rising!!!!
Yeah man, you called it
Any idea what the water temps are? I’m guessing high 50′s in the morning turning to low 60′s in the afternoons….
I’d say high 50′s to low 60′s…the fish don’t feel like I just took them out of a freezer anymore like they did just a few weeks ago.
Good going Nomad. Are you using the Alluring senkos or the GY’s ??
Ha! I knew you were going to ask me that!
This morning I was using the GY ones, but I sure did wish I would have brought the ones from Alluring Baits!
