I was sitting in the apartment yesterday around lunchtime twiddling my thumbs, so I just popped down to the lake for a few hours.
With the summer holidays starting, the roads and lake were busy. The lake shore (good bass fishing spots) was consumed completely with crap carp fishermen, so there were only a few spots available.
I had several bites, but I think most of them were from the masses of bluegill in this lake, but I did manage this one nice bass on a spinnerbait.
Nice job, Steve! Those are some interesting colors on that spinnerbait.
Thanks Nomad. I used that same spinnerbait on Tuesday also and it was the only color spinnerbait the bass would hit.
It’s a 1/4oz, with chartruse, white and blue skirt with double chartruse willow blades. All that chartruse seems to be the key in the slightly stained waters down here.
Try a white/red one
Finicky critters, ain’t they?
They sure are Nomad, they sure are. I’m going to try again tomorrow morning,,,,,,,with a red/white spinnerbait
LOL Guys, and nice going Steve! Good luck!
