Three-peat

Well, this morning was exactly like the couple of days I had out there last week; one dink on a Senko while it was dark and as soon as it got light (around 6:20 or so), the bass started slamming spinnerbaits.  In a 20-25 minute span, I caught 5 on a white/red spinnerbait, with this being the biggest of the bunch.  I also had a theory that since they were going after something that resembles a baitfish, a crankbait should work so I threw a Storm Thin Fin for about 10 minutes…so much for my theories smile_tongue because I didn’t get a single bite…should have stayed with the spinnerbait since that was what they were hitting.  And oh yeah, it was foggy and pretty darned cold and I was in the car every 10 minutes, warming my hands.  LOL

Nice going Nomad. It amazes me what they’ll hit and won’t hit sometimes.

It amazes me too, Rob. But hey, I just drive the bus and am happy to be a part of it all.

Glad to see the cold isn’t affecting the bass, I can’t wait to get home now!!

You’ll ba back before you know it, and I bet you have plenty of good fishing left down your way. During the day, it’s been really nice here, but it does get a bit chilly at night.

It’s been the same down the South according to my better-half. Almost all of the water plants would of died off before I get home, so I should be able to get my boat out a few times before the water freezes.
Hopefully, this winter will be a little warmer than last year’s winter!!

There should be plenty of warm enough days for you go to fishing when you get back Steve. Hurry back!! :)
