Cold and Windy, but fun

Yesterday was our Bass Club’s monthly meet and it was at my favorite lake, so despite the cold and windy weather forecast I decided to take my chances.

We all fished a mini tournament in the morning and I only managed one small bass, but when everyone left for their 2 hour drive back to Ulsan, I decided to stay for a few more hours. I ended up catching 5 more bass, nothing big, but they were bass  :)

The first 2 were caught on a Neko rig, then I pulled 2 bass out of overhanging trees by flippin’ a baby brush hog and a Parasite weight, and the last 2 bass fell for a shallow, wide wobbling crankbait.

I fishing from my boat for the first time since May this year and it worked great in the bad weather despite the long time away from the water. And checkout the boat ramp at this lake…..lol

Rumor has it that Pete from KSA won the tournament up here this weekend, but I’m having a hard time finding anyone who actually fished it to confirm that. If so, congratulations Pete!

    Thanks Nomad.

Rob – Any more news?? I just had a look on the Team FATBOY site, but there’s nothing mentioned.

All I know is that he won it, can’t find anybody to tell me how many he caught or how much they weighed though.
