We are getting some very low temps coming through down here this week and today was the last almost warm day according to the weather forecast, so I made the most of it this afternoon.
I fished from 1:00pm until 5:00pm (only bearable temperatures time frame) and managed 2 little bass, The water temps were down to the low 40’s today, and they are only going to get colder this week.
I got the first one on a drop shot rig, and the second on a Neko rig.
Nice going Steve. You got out there, and that’s what counts!
When you have the time, please email me with information on where you get your supplies to make your own spinner and chatterbaits. I’m going to try and do that this winter…
Thanks Rob, I’m not sure when I’ll be able to get out there again with this extra cold weather we are getting down here now
I’ll get an email to you right away
Thanks Steve!
Good for you Steve. I wouldn’t even think of going out right now, not with the cold weather we’re getting up this way. Hopefully it’ll warm up (a little) again after this front passes through…
It’s not much warmer down here right now. I’m also hoping we get a couple of ‘warmer’ days here next week so I can get again. This time of year I like to fish this small stream near me from my inflatable boat and flippin jigs into the over hanging trees along the banks, fingers crossed.
Not sure about the forecast up your way, but down here it seems we will get a few warm (warmer) days next week, so I going to get my little inflatable onto a small stream for some jig flippin
Don’t know what it’s supposed to be next week, but as we used to say back home, and I don’t know why, but it’s colder than a well digger’s ass out there right now.
And on top of that it’s spitting snow… BBBbbbbbrrrrrrr
