With this amazing February weather we are having, I wanting to go fishing before this weekend’s rain got here (it’s actually raining and very windy as I type this!) so I went out yesterday (Wednesday). Everything was perfect; little or no wind, warm, rising water temperatures and sunny with some cloud. I thought I was in for a great day of fishing!
Obviously, the bass don’t read the same books and internet forums as we do.
I fished my favorite pond from 10:30am and never had a single bite in all the usual great spots. At 17:30pm as I was just about to call it a day I tried a spot that has never produced for me in the past and I caught this little fella on virtually my last cast of the day.
By the way, isn’t all fishing FUN? 
At least you had wet lines and caught something. Last Saturday I roamed around for half a day up this way and everything I looked at was still frozen over despite 2 or 3 days up in the forties. Was my last chance until about 20 Mar. Great going Steve.
Yeh, atleast you were able to get out there and land something. good fish mate.. how do you normally rig your senkos mate? I went for a drive with the missus a couple days ago and every decent looking place I looked at was still iced over so I might have to wat abit before I can give it a shot…
I’ve been trying to hold off since the ice has just thawed (there’s still ice in some places) so the water temp is still pretty cold despite the air temps lately. But, with these nice, warm days we’re having, that itch is getting worse and worse. Time to get my Senkos and red/white spinnerbaits ready

Way to go Steve. My brother-in-law caught a nice 45 cm. bass out of the river here last saturday. Hey, where is your link for Sure Catch. Better get that up. LOL

Craig – I’m sure there’ll be plenty of places to buy tackle in Seoul. The Fishing Expo will be in Seoul from Mar 12th~14th, that would be a great place to start.

It’s supposed to be in the high 50′s and sunny tomorrow and Friday down here, so I will try and get out and see how muddy the water is, and try and catch a bass or 2.
