Such as it is

My first bass of 2010, such as it is Open-mouthed

Caught on a 4-inch Senko, black with blue flakes.  I also lost my first spinnerbait of 2010!

It’s always a good feeling to get the first of the year. WTG Nomad.

  2. Nomad says:

Thanks, Steve. That fish felt like I just pulled it out of a freezer, the water is still so cold.

  3. Steve says:

Do you know what the water temps are?

  4. Nomad says:

No, not officially but if I had to guess, I would say below 50, probably close to 40.

    Nice going Nomad!! :)

Thanks, Rob…it’s a start. A small one at that but I’m not complaining. Well, except about this freaking weather

Nice Nomad. I thought that by now the weather would have turned for the better in Korea. If I am correct, wou all were already killing them this time, last year. At least the ice is broken and the best is yet to come. Maybe I’ll be back in Korea on assignment later this year if all goes well so I can enjoy the soju, anju and fishing. I never thought I’d get into the fly fishing stuff but I have just about turned into a fly fishing guru and have been catching a lot of nice trout on my ultra light 3 weight fly rod set up. Bass fishing will turn up in about a month down here in Colorado.

28 degrees this morning Tex Mex. We haven’t had a lot of rain, but it’s just been cold and snowy, and it’s almost April. Water temps are still in the high 30′s and low 40′s for the most part.

Steve caught a couple of nice ones down at Andong this past weekend though, hope he posts some pics here soon. Also, send us some pics of your trout fishing adventures when you get the chance, would be nice to see them, and would also be nice to see you back over here…hope you get your assignment!!

    Tex Mex,

Good to hear from you again! Like Rob said, the weather hasn’t been cooperating very well over this way and it’s still pretty chilly. Luckily for me, I was able to park right next to where I fished so I could jump in the car every 10 minutes to warm my hands
