Could the action be picking up out there?
I had to include that third pic, because it’s the first bass I’ve caught on spinnerbait this year and trust me, it hasn’t been because of a lack of trying. Not sure what that little guy thought he was going after, considering the lure is almost bigger than the fish is.

Doggone it, why can’t the Han produce that. (Rhetorical question guys.) Some super fishing Nomad. How long were you out this morning? And how did you fish the spinnerbait, slow, fast, etc? Around the rocks, nets, weeds?

Thanks and yes, that is a spinnerbait…very astute observation on your part

I was out there for a little less than an hour because I had to go to work early. I fished the spinnerbait medium, I would say, because out there where I always go, there are lots and lots of rocks of all sizes along the bottom and I try to retrieve just fast enough so that the lure bounces off the rocks or clears them.

Thanks! Yeah I’m stubborn like that at times, but there have been times when I’m sure it’s cost me fish because I was dead set on catching something with a certain lure.
