Ty does lunch-time fishing

From Ty:

“I was called to work at 0500 this morning so I used that comp time for today’s lunch time. It was so windy I didn’t bother tossing out a senko so I tried the old spinner bait action. Well I started with the red and white but no takers. I changed to yellow and the first cast I hooked a dinkous that I didn’t even bother taking out my camera for. The next one was pretty good, worthy of a picture and these three adoshis came over to me and i hooked into the big one in the pic. The were surprised and the started using spinners and they actually got on the phone and called someone else and told them spinner bait. After a few more cast I just packed up and left after that.”

    Ty,

WTG, you’re a better man than me…I went out this morning and the wind was howling so bad, there were big waves on the river and when I tried to cast, the line came right back at me and with the wind and current, my lure stayed on the surface. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it that bad out there. I lasted maybe 10 minutes and called it a morning

    Nomad,

Yeah it was rough but I didn’t want to get skunked so I stayed and after the first catch, you know I didn’t want to leave thinking the big one will come and take the bait soon.

Nice going Ty! Anybody who fished in the wind we had today has my respect, and then some. That shit was horrible!

Thanks Rob! Horrible is the word. I had the itch to go since it’s been a few days.

Nomad, I’m ready when you are.

    Steve,

You should have been standing on that shore with me yesterday morning…literally the worst conditions I’ve ever fished in

I take it that today is much better?

The river was like glass this morning, not a hint of wind. Unfortunately, there’s heavy rain forecast for Thursday/Friday with more wind
