From Ty: “Me and Jim went to Asan Bay Yesterday afternoon. We caught 11 total. Jim had 6 and I ended with 5. We put on our waders and managed to fish between the carp boats out there and did pretty good. We caught the eight at our favorite spot, Jim kept the small ones and threw back the big ones. We moved to another spot and caught three more there and ended our afternoon fishing.”
Nice stringer of fish guys, so when’s the fish fry??
I don’t know Steve…unless I was starving, I wouldn’t eat anything that swims in that river. Up this way, the only places where I’d keep fish from are Idong, Gosam and Yum Chi lakes. But then, Jim and Ty haven’t grown second heads or third eyes (yet) so I may be wrong about the river
Hey, I only have a twitch from eating those fish for the last five years.
I know I’ve seen some NASTY parts of the river, and I for sure wouldn’t eat anything from it. On another note. Simp and I went to the little bass/bluegill pond above Idong this morning. All in all we caught a total of 16 bass in 3 hours, Though all were dinks except one. We’re catching them, now bring on those big boys! I hit the river up just a few min ago for some evening fishing , got one little dink as well. I plan on working my way down. I started after the bridge coming from Hump out of Anjung-Ri at the first canal/spillway/whatever you call it. I have determined that we need a boat to hit that island across from Hump. That looks like some nice fishing to be had over that way.
Nice going guys, and LOL on the comments!
