Ty,

It looks like we'll have clear skies on Monday but yeah, it's going to be hot. We'll launch nice and early so we can at least have some comfort. I'm curious to see if they'll still be hitting the Zoom Ol' Monster worms.

Nomad, I'm angry at this weather. I just want to fish right now while it is some what cool and not 95 plus degrees or higher right now. We'll get em on Monday!

Steve,

That was my theory as well, because once it gets light, the bite slows down or stops. Where I fish, there is a steep dropoff less than 10 feet from shore that goes down to 25-30 feet. My guess is that during the summer, the bass suspend along that dropoff and stay deep during the day, but come up into the shallows during the night to feed. During the summer months, I usually have my best luck while it's still dark out, and/or right at first light.

Lol, I would be exactly the same as you Nomad if I lived that close to a bass water, I'd be there every morning also.

Congrats on yet another great EMB outing, I guess the bass are feeding in the shallows during the evening and early mornings right now.
